OUR APPARATUS

Outfitted with top-tier classical, contemporary, and small Pilates apparatus, every inch of our studio is designed to challenge, refine, and rebuild.

Contemporary Apparatus

Equipment That Works as Hard as You Do

Our studio features top-of-the-line contemporary Pilates apparatus—engineered for anatomical precision, modular programming, and elite-level performance. While many studios use this equipment in group settings, we don’t. Every session here is private, tailored, and built around your body’s unique needs. We’re proud to offer equipment from multiple leading manufacturers, including systems rarely found in Jacksonville.

BASI Systems

BASI Systems is a premier line of contemporary Pilates equipment, engineered by Rael Isacowitz—founder of BASI Pilates (Body Arts and Science International). Known for its anatomical intelligence and modular design, BASI Systems offers unmatched versatility in resistance, spring angle, and body positioning. The Enhanced Pulley System (EPS) allows precise control over spring placement and tension, supporting comfort, flexibility, and biomechanical accuracy. At the heart of the system is the F2 mechanism, which expands the range of spring angles and attachment points across the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Armchair Barrel—unlocking new repertoire possibilities for every body type and movement goal.

Our studio features a curated selection of BASI Systems apparatus, including a Reformer/Cadillac combo, Wunda Chair, Armchair Barrel Set, Spine Corrector, and Ped-a-Pull—each chosen for its adaptability, precision, and ability to support private, client-centered instruction.

Merrithew V2 Max Reformer with Vertical Frame

The Merrithew V2 Max Reformer with Vertical Frame is a studio-grade system engineered for versatility, joint-safe resistance, and progressive rehabilitation. Outfitted with a Diskboard and Jumpboard with Cross Bar, this apparatus supports circular foot placement, proprioceptive training, and controlled plyometric loading—all from a supine or seated position. The vertical frame expands programming with Cadillac-style movement, while the high-precision gearbar and retractable rope system allow seamless transitions and tailored resistance. Ideal for post-rehab, athletic conditioning, and dynamic strength work across all planes of motion.

Classical Apparatus

Classical Chairs: Stability Starts Here

These chairs are unapologetically direct. The Armchair (Baby Chair) and High Chair (Electric Chair) teach clients—especially those new to Pilates—how to engage their Powerhouse while moving their arms or legs. Their high backs provide the postural feedback missing from other apparatus, making them ideal for building core control, breath coordination, and spinal alignment from the start. These aren’t accessories. They’re foundational tools for teaching stability in motion.

Armchair (Baby Chair) – Elina Pilates

The Armchair, often called the Baby Chair, is a classical apparatus that teaches clients to stabilize their spine while moving their arms. With a high back and spring-loaded handles, it builds postural awareness, breath control, and upper-body integration. Ideal for beginners, post-rehab clients, and anyone learning to engage their Powerhouse without compensating through the shoulders or neck. Built for anatomical clarity and tactile feel.

High Chair (Electric Chair) – Gratz (Coming Soon)

The High Chair, also known as the Electric Chair, is one of the most powerful tools in classical Pilates. With a tall back, foot pedal, and spring resistance, it teaches clients how to stabilize the spine while moving the legs—especially in vertical loading patterns. This chair builds strength, control, and proprioception in the lower body while reinforcing breath and core engagement. Our Gratz High Chair is on its way!

Small Apparatus

Foundational Feedback

Often overlooked in group-class environments, these tools are essential in our studio. The small apparatus—including the Toe Corrector, Foot Corrector, Magic Circle, and Neck Stretcher—helps retrain extremities and reinforce alignment from the ground up. Whether it’s foot placement, cervical support, or breath-driven core engagement, these pieces deliver tactile feedback that teaches stability, not just movement.

Toe Correctors

Teaches foot articulation, toe alignment, and neuromuscular control—especially for bunions, balance, and gait retraining.

Foot Corrector

Builds arch integrity, proprioception, and load tolerance—ideal for post-trauma recovery and foundational footwork.

Neck Stretcher

Supports cervical alignment, breath coordination, and postural retraining—especially for clients with forward head posture or tension patterns.

Magic Circle

Reinforces breath, Powerhouse activation, and scapular stability—used for both upper and lower body integration.
